VISION SCREENING -OUTREACH PROGRAM

Empowering Vision, Enhancing Lives!

Our PPG Optometry students recently conducted a vision screening program for construction workers at VISTARA construction Lakshmi Builders, reaching out to 150 laborers from North India. The results highlighted a significant need for eye care, with 50% of participants showing age related vision problems.

Our students not only screened their vision but also provided guidance on further investigation and treatment options. They also conducted an occupational hazards awareness program, emphasizing the importance of eye safety on the job.

This initiative was a valuable experience for our students, allowing them to apply their skills in a real-world setting while making a positive impact on the community. We're proud of their efforts and commitment to improving eye health!
