Hi, I am Arya Krishnan from Kerala. Firstly, I would like to thank our principal ma'am and my faculties for giving me this opportunity to share my experience through this testimonial. At first, I was so nervous when I joined here because of the language, but my seniors and faculties helped me overcome all that. PPG Institute of Optometry provided me with a comprehensive education and hands-on training, preparing me to excel in this rewarding field. I gained invaluable experience in clinical practice with diverse patients and cases and received mentorship from experienced faculty who genuinely care about our success. The faculty members are not only knowledgeable but also caring and approachable. They guided me in my academics and helped me achieve my goals. I am grateful for the diverse community and inclusive atmosphere, which has allowed me to make lifelong friendships and connections. Our department is not only about academics but also about finding our community and pursuing our interests. The faculties provided me with endless opportunities to grow and thrive. I have learned several leadership qualities and interpersonal skills that have shaped me into the person I am today. I had the opportunity to participate in several eye camp programs, mission trips, industrial visits, and research programs. Our college is the best not only in teaching but also in developing me to be confident. I am incredibly grateful to the Department of Optometry for everything it has provided me as I embark on the next chapter of my academic journey. I'm Katlin Flavia, a third-year Optometry student, and I am here to share my journey in this college. First of all, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude towards our department for giving me this opportunity. Here, I wish to share my special love for Optometry. The reason is that I had completed my previous degree in another field, but the significance and crucial aspects of Optometry attracted me to choose this course. I wanted to help people visualize the world they dream of seeing. My journey in this college has been truly divine throughout the past two years. Our department and its faculties have played an important role in shaping my career. They have been a great support both inside and outside the college. To improve academic performance, they stood as a pillar of encouragement and guided me in every possible way. Apart from academics, the college has given me the platform to pursue my passion, including cultural activities, leadership opportunities, and interpersonal skills development. I consider myself fortunate to be part of the Optometry program here. We have had hospital postings, camps, communication guidance classes, and state-of-the-art lab facilities that provided enriching practical knowledge right from the first semester. This institution has offered us countless opportunities to grow and shine. I never imagined that I would complete my studies and walk out as one of the best Optometry students. This was made possible only because of the quality of education provided by our institution. The support and encouragement allowed me to participate in various intercollegiate activities, where I honed my public speaking and presentation skills.
